What is R.C.I.A.?
The R.C.I.A. is the Church's program to welcome new members into the Catholic Church (via Baptism) or to complete the Sacraments of Initiation (First Communion and Confirmation) for those adult Catholics who have not received them.

Who may attend the R.C.I.A.?

• Any adult interested in learning more about the Catholic Church.
• Adults who have never been baptized or perhaps belonged to a non-Christian church who are interested in becoming Catholic.
• Adults baptized in another Christian faith tradition who are interested in joining the Catholic Church.
• Baptized adult Catholics who wish to prepare to receive First Communion and/or Confirmation.
• Catholics who may have been away from the Church for a period of time or just wish to learn more about the Faith of the Church.

R.C.I.A. will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at HFSL Parish Center from 6:00 to 7:30PM beginning in September through April (see calendar of sessions for specific dates).
